NATURE AND ORIGIN
Through the Rays of Wisdom, Power, and Love during the last two centuries (the 19th and 20th), the Law has permitted efforts to be made to bring to the understanding of the people of Earth the reality of the existence of the Spiritual Hierarchy and the Great White Brotherhood and Their Activities on behalf of Earth and Its evolution.
Through the Ray of Wisdom, the Ascended Masters—the Maha Chohan, Morya, Kuthumi, Serapis, and Saint Germain—during the 19th century (1800–1900), through the Theosophical Society and with the help of Madame Blavatsky, Leadbeater, Olcott, Besant, and others—initiated efforts that resulted, among other things, in the manifestation of certain aspects of the Law through *The Secret Doctrine*, *The Voice of Isis*, etc.
Later, in the first half of the 20th century, Saint Germain—through the Ray of Power and with the help of Mr. Ballard—was enabled to manifest the “I AM” Activity, providing humanity on Earth with an understanding of the “I AM” Consciousness of Perfection and the use of the Rays of Light as outlined in that organization’s various publications.
In the second half of the 20th century, on July 15, 1951, with the help of the Spiritual Hierarchy, the idea for *The Bridge to Freedom* was conceived; it came into being in April 1952 through the dispensation obtained by Beloved El Morya for its manifestation on the three-dimensional plane. During the period from 1952 to 1962, with the help of Beloved Geraldine Innocente (now Ascended and known as Lady Miriam) and then from 1962 to 1979, with the help of Beloved Lucy Littlejohn using the Ray of Love, another great effort was made in which Beloved Maha Chohan, Beloved El Morya, and various Members of the Cosmic Hierarchy revealed many of the activities of the Great White Brotherhood, including, among others, the Flame Transmission Classes and visits to the Temples and Retreats in projected consciousness, placing ever-greater emphasis on the individual’s connection with their Divine Reality and the use of the Sacred Fire.
With all the infrastructure built by Beloved El Morya through the Bridge to Freedom, on July 15, 1979, the New Age Church of The Christ was founded by Beloved Saint Germain with the assistance of the Spiritual Hierarchy, with beloved Lucy Littlejohn being the primary non-ascended being selected to continue the work for the Ascended Masters. In other words, the Bridge ascended, and the Beloved Ascended Master Saint Germain established His Church from Above.
The New Age Church of Christ is the continuation of what was known as the Bridge to Freedom. Through this Church, the Masters continued to impart further insights into the various aspects of the Law and greater knowledge of the Activities of the Great White Brotherhood until December 31, 1989, when it was announced that our beloved Lucy would no longer receive material from the Masters of Wisdom. Since 1990, the New Age Church of Christ has continued its activities with the support of the Cosmic Hierarchy without channels, and has been—and will continue to be—using all the teachings given by the Ascended Masters through this spiritual path in order to maintain its purity in cooperation with the Great Beings.
THE FOUNDING OF THE NEW AGE CHURCH OF CHRIST

My friends of the Ages!… This is a joint effort, and We are going to go out—We will go out—throughout the entire world with THE CHURCH OF THE NEW AGE OF CHRIST. The Church that has now been officially established for the New Age…
“…You will feel My Presence more and more in the days ahead, and for those of you who would like to know why Beloved God Meru is with Me, it is because South America is absolutely vital to My New Age Church. I have been preparing the South American continent for decades, and decades, and decades. In fact, if you wanted to know where I spent most of my time, that’s where I was! South America is truly the Territory of the Seventh Ray!”And My various Beacons of Light throughout South America will be Radiant Centers of Light that will emit the Rays of Truth across the entire continent, spreading northward, and like a paper torch (similar to those you might see in fireworks), it will blaze all the way to Florida, and from Florida throughout the United States… and I want you to visualize that! Down in South America, they are ripe, and they are ready to light the fire. Some places are already ablaze with spiritual enthusiasm.
“… THIS CHURCH WILL HAVE ME AS ITS HEAD… Without his services, there would be no New Age Church, and I almost gave up because I had no one to work with. And this Blessed El Morya… I want you to remember him, that magnificent Being. You will be hearing from Him many, many times. He will not abandon you… Come to know the magnificence of this Being, El Morya, who made this possible! He came to Me when almost everything was lost, and voluntarily offered His Service twenty-seven long years ago to draw from My Activity those sincere currents of life… those magnificent currents of life with which I could work and which I could use, before My Activity disintegrated into dust. And it was saved: and The Bridge to Freedom came and appeared, and we had some anxious moments, I can tell you. And now… NOW, We have a Church! “And throughout the whole world, Centers will be established through each one of you where My Church of the New Age can expand and grow; Centers of Light where those of any Denomination, any Religion, any Activity can come and obtain the Truth and take it home. THIS WILL BE A CHURCH WITHOUT “CHURCHES.” IT WILL BE A RELIGION OF NO “RELIGION.” It will be a Church that will be the Foundation and Primordial Source of Truth, restoring Spiritual Truth to the humanity of Earth that seeks it so desperately.
"My symbol from now on will be in purple, white, and gold. It will be a magnificent shield with the Keys of Authority of the New Age Church crossed behind it and pointing downward, because the Keys have come from Heaven! They are the Keys of the New Age for the Locks of the New Age, and they are the only Keys of Authority in the world!…Above that Shield will be the Dove of the Holy Spirit, shedding light downward upon the Seven Rays; and beneath the descending Dove will be the magnificent Golden Chalice, upon which is emblazoned the Lamp of Truth! Truly, the Sacred Chalice of Truth, from which all who are thirsty on this blessed planet may come and drink. And at the very top of the crest will be My Crown… a Crown emblazoned with the Fleur-de-lis and the Maltese Cross; a Crown of Authority…»
THE PURPOSE
The Church is a spiritual endeavor designed to reach the masses by presenting the Truth in a simplified form, in order to lead the people of Earth into the New Age of Perfection, under the banner of the Beloved Ascended Master Saint Germain. It also has a religious-educational character, aimed at fostering a better understanding of the Higher Spiritual Law, which allows it to grow and expand through Centers of Light where people of any denomination, any religion, and any walk of life can come and receive the Truth and take it home—as if it were a Church without Churches and a Religion of No Religion.
The Church comes to you as a Messenger of Peace, a Herald of Hope, a bridge across which your outer consciousness can safely walk toward the Presence of the Great White Brotherhood, share in Its Plans and Efforts on behalf of humanity, and consciously draw upon the radiance and blessings that such knowledge brings.
THE PLATFORM
His platform is as follows:
FREEDOM for every stream of life to develop and express its talents AND USE THOSE TALENTS for the good of Life.
JUSTICE for every soul who has worked hard at a task, no matter what personal shortcomings may have overshadowed the full expression of that service.
UNITY among the members of the Spiritual Brotherhood, through coordinated, rhythmic, universal guidance regarding the Law and the demands of the moment.
LOVE AND TOLERANCE for all of life—qualities that unite rather than divide the people of Earth, the conscious students on the Path, and those leaders who are noble enough to admit that the Sun cannot limit its brilliance to just a single “Ray of Light.”
THE TRUTH Revealed so that everyone who turns to the Cosmic Source may be satisfied, and no one may be led astray by bitterness and emptiness.
PEACE that comes from freedom of conscience and action, within the reasonable bounds of honor and ethical purity.
ACTION through instruction that is systematically coordinated, directed, and disseminated in the Cause of World Good.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The New Age Church of The Christ was founded on July 15, 1979, as announced by the Ascended Masters during the 1979 Summer Conference, held in the physical Shamballa, an event at which the beloved Lady Lucy Littlejohn was named President of this organization.
The New Age Church of the Christ (worldwide, in English) was legally established in the physical world in the United States of America in 1979, and its headquarters operated from 1979 to 1989 at 20 Meadow Glen Road, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, Long Island, N.Y., U.S.A.
In Caracas, Venezuela, in 1980, the New Age Church of Christ (in Spanish, with the beloved María Luisa Pérez de Rodríguez appointed as its president) was legally established for Venezuela and Latin America.
In 1990, following the passing of the beloved María Luisa, Carlos Rivero, an engineer, was appointed president of the New Age Church of Christ.
It is worth noting that both the beloved María Luisa and Engineer Carlos Rivero were present on July 15, 1979, when the founding of The New Age Church of the Christ was announced; and that same day, during a private meeting in the Hall of Angels, the Ascended Master Saint Germain consecrated them to perform the service required at that time.
Since The New Age Church of the Christ in the United States of America ceased operations in 1990, the New Age Church of the Christ established for Venezuela and Latin America decided to continue spreading the Word and Teachings of the Ascended Masters and Cosmic Beings not only to this country, but also to the Americas and the world.
